1,500 Come to Christ in Tanzania

We celebrate the successful mission of the Serengeti Project Team in June 2006. This team was led by Barry Wood, the teacher of the Spirit Seekers class, and worked with the Sukuma people located on the outskirts of the Serengeti Park in Tanzania, Africa. Their efforts led to the salvation of 1500 people! They showed the Jesus film in two villages that have not had a Christian witness in more than 30 years. And they worshipped with a new church that had 180 people in attendance and 87 people baptized on one Sunday. They are continuing efforts to drill a water well for the villages.
