Single Mother Receives an Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

In the fall of 2005, one of our single moms received a big surprise—our version of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. In just 24 hours, more than 50 volunteers replaced siding, repaired electrical and plumbing problems, painted walls, and gave the family a much needed and appreciated makeover. And, a new ministry—Singles Serving Singles—was formed. God has given us so much, and it’s our turn to give back to those in our own group who need help.
