Each fall and spring, Prestonwood offers opportunities for spiritual development in focused classes. Choose a class that interests you, and join us!

Life Recovery

In order to recover a life of peace, it is necessary to pursue and identify choices that cause chaos and pain. Addictions, afflictions, strongholds and lies must be brought into the light so they can be seen clearly and dealt with appropriately. Through gender specific, open-share, small groups, Life Recovery will help you pursue, overtake, and recover a life of peace and purpose. Share Groups include:

Genesis

Genesis is foundational to the whole Bible, and to every human life. Genesis tells us who God is, who we are, how things went wrong, and the plan that God has put in place to return the earth to the way it was meant to be. In this semester, we will look at the The Patriarchs and explore concepts such as blessing, covenant and promise, and the bearing each has on a New Testament believer’s life today.

Knowing God through the Old Testament

Although the account of Christ’s birth doesn’t appear in the Bible until the New Testament, the pages and themes of the Old Testament point to His coming. By taking a close look at the sacrifices, the temple and the covenants of the Old Testament, we’ll see how Jesus was always God’s plan for the redemption of man.
