His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. —Psalm 112:2
God has given you a precious gift! To celebrate and come along beside you, we conduct three Parent/Child Dedications each year. If you wish to participate in a Parent/Child Dedication, we ask that you preregister online or call the Preschool Ministry Office at your campus.

North Campus: 972-798-6732
This is a special celebration for parents to gather with family and friends, making a commitment to raise their child in a Christ-centered home. During the scheduled Worship Service, you will have an opportunity, along with other families, to stand before the church and celebrate the gift of your child. There will be a specific time in the Worship Service when parents make a public commitment before the congregation and then the people of Prestonwood commit to support these parents as they raise their children to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.
Following the dedication service, you will be provided with a complimentary family photograph. A DVD of the dedication may also be ordered for a minimal cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age can a child take part in a Dedication Service?
Our primary focus is on children from birth to 18 months. However, we consider each family on an individual basis.
Can a single parent participate in a Baby Dedication?
Yes. We want to do all we can to encourage your walk with Christ. As a church family, we desire to be a part of your extended family. If you want to participate in a Dedication Service and would like the support of your parents or another family member, we will gladly discuss this with you before the service to provide guidance on how they can take part.
Do I need to attend the Parenting Class if I have participated in another church’s Dedication Service?
Yes. All parents must attend one Parenting Class, but only one, at Prestonwood. Once you attend the class for one child, you do not have to attend for your other children.
Do you provide reserved seating for grandparents and extended family?
Yes. We would not want your family to miss this important event in your life.
