Boot Camp Retreat for Grades 3-4

Friday, March 23, 6:30 p.m. to Saturday, March 24, 11:00 a.m.
Cost: $25 before March 18; $35 after
Check in: Beginning at 6:00 p.m., Dallas & Plano Campus students will meet at the Prestonwood Baseball Fields and North Campus students will meet at the Kovalchuk property. Please be sure you have completed a medical release form for your child when you sign up for this event. In case of inclement weather, check in will take place at the Student Worship Center for the Plano Campus and at the church for the North Campus. Weather permitting students will sleep in tents (tents are provided by the church).
Students will receive instruction in building their courage as they look at Daniel's example. Students will have Bible study, fellowship and fun activities this overnight retreat. It will run from Friday night at 6:30 p.m. until Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. There will be two small group sessions (6-10 students, same gender with one leader) and two large group sessions (all students). There will also be a personal morning devotional time. Students will be divided into teams to complete an obstacle course and other team/courage-building activities.
Students will receive a t-shirt and student book.
What to bring: Sleeping bag, sleeping clothes, tennis shoes, comfortable clothing for activities, jacket, Bible, pencil/pen.
