Bill Borinstein
Minister to Men
|
|
Bill Borinstein, the Minister to Men at Prestonwood, has experienced God’s hand throughout his life. Raised in a Jewish family, the road to Jesus Christ wasn’t easy. But looking back, he can see how God pursued him every step of the way. Today, Bill wants to share the lessons God has taught him with men throughout the community and beyond.
He believes that one of the greatest problems in our culture is a lack of spiritual leadership in the home. His vision for the Men's Ministry is to see men grow in their faith and become strong spiritual leaders for their families, business, church and communities.
“Through the development of 'Project Timothy,' we have provided men opportunities for discipleship and accountability, matching guys younger in the faith with those older in the faith to help mature their walk with God,” he said.
In addition, small group discipleship classes provide studies in the areas of biblical finance, discipleship, faith in the marketplace, leadership, marriage, parenting, prayer, sexual purity, spiritual growth and spiritual leadership.
“Many people may say, ‘I want to do the will of God,’ but when the rubber hits the road, what does that really mean?” Bill asked. “The Prestonwood Men's Ministry provides men practical, achievable biblical goals so they can truly live a life that honors and glorifies God.”
