Quinten Hope
Guitar
Quinten Hope, a Dallas native, started learning music at a young age. He’s now a full-time studio musician, writer, arranger, producer and performer.
The guitar has always been an outlet and an outreach for Quinten.
He attended the University of North Texas, where he double-majored in jazz performance and music theory. In 1997, he stepped onto the country music scene and was nominated “Best New Country Guitar Player” by the Dallas Country Music Awards.
Quinten has been teaching for more than 10 years now. He is well versed in many styles—jazz, blues, gospel, Contemporary Christian, rock and country. He has written and recorded two CDs of original music and is working on a third.
Quinten has been a part of the Prestonwood Orchestra for more than six years.
"Quinten is an invaluable resource as an instructor...and needless to say, player. The bar has been set high with instructors at SOFA....and you all should be very proud of the program and the impact the instructors are having." —Holly N.
