Kindermusik
Hsuan Chiu Nguyen began classical training in piano at age 6 and was the pianist for her hometown church group for several years until high school graduation.
She graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and became certified in music for kindergarten through eighth grade, and later Kindermusik.
Hsuan taught music at a magnet elementary school, and in addition, directed an honor choir, bell choir and drama club and presented workshops for district music teachers. She has earned numerous awards, including Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, PTA Lifetime Achievement Award and Teacher of the Year.
She retired from the classroom to focus on starting a family, teaching private piano lessons and Kindermusik. Hsuan is an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
