Scott Stine
Guitar

Scott Stine grew up in the Akron, Ohio area and regularly attended Akron Baptist Temple with his family before moving to Texas while he was in high school. It was during his teen years that Mr. Stine traded his trumpet for guitar.

After moving to Dallas, Mr. Stine was signed by Shrapnel Records to record an instrumental guitar album. He traveled the country performing in shows and giving guitar clinics at music stores. Back at home, Scott picked up local band gigs in between recording sessions and sharpened his skills by playing guitar and bass in many different genres of music—jazz, pop-top 40, Latin-flamenco, country, rock and R&B.

In January of 2000, Mr. Stine was hired as the Instrumental Music Director for Grace Community Church in Plano, a non-denominational church with 2,000 in attendance at weekend services. He is responsible for the spiritual, technical and performance building of three full bands of volunteer musicians. He also participates in service planning, creating charts, writing music, running rehearsals, and leading the instrumental teams in praise and worship for services and recordings.

Mr. Stine has taught guitar and bass students for over 15 years.
