Beyond All Limits

The Church in our generation has been and always will be God's plan for bringing hope, life and the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.

The book of Acts presents the Church as it is born and multiplies in the first century.  Here, the Church is presented as an army of influence with the Gospel, empowered by God to go beyond all limits.

As 21st-century believers, the same God enables us by this same power—the Holy Spirit—to live out our faith and fulfill God's purpose in this generation. Yet, today we have the added blessing and responsibility of making use of expanded tools and technologies to do extraordinary works for the glory of God.

In Isaiah 54, we find signature verses describing what Prestonwood is undertaking in these days:

“Enlarge the place of your tent and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out: Do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.  For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will posses the nations and will people the desolate cities.”

Today, we are embracing this same challenge.

Through prayer and sacrifice, together, we intend to expand our tents for ministry, lengthen the cords of love, strengthen the stakes of faith, and go deeper in our walk with Christ.  We are praying for God to expand and enable greater influence for Christ through worship, Bible Fellowship, evangelism, community service, sacrifice, Christ-centered living and discipleship.

You are invited and encouraged to join us in this journey of faith.  The challenge for all of us is to make it personal.  To do so, we must be diligent in prayer and realign our vision and values toward things that will matter for eternity.  Together, we are seeking a revival of spirit that will bring freshness and fullness as we move forward—moving beyond all limits.
