Platinum People Are Rare People

Platinum is one of the rarest elements on earth, considered by scientists as the “noble metal.” It is resistant to wear and tarnish, which makes it highly suitable for making fine jewelry. Platinum is actually available in more abundance on the moon and in other heavenly bodies, which may explain why we "look up" to platinum today.

Men and women of Prestonwood Platinum demonstrate all of these same qualities. Having experienced lives refined by God, they have achieved a level of immeasurable value to the body of Christ. The most common use for platinum is as a catalyst. That is why we at Prestonwood seek to utilize the talent and wisdom found in our Platinum resources to help others learn the real difference Jesus can make in lives today.

Our new Prestonwood Platinum includes Adult 4 and 5 Ministries. So, if you are one of these “rare” people, welcome to Platinum!

Platinum Singers & Players

Ephesians 5:19 encourages us to share “hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.”

Now's your big chance to be a part of something new at Prestonwood! We need singers and instrumentalists to praise the Lord through music!

Rehearsals are on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Volunteer

In-Touch Ministry
The In-Touch Ministry was created to give a personal touch to those who are living in a retirement community. Through one-on-one or group visits, we help to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of many people. We present the Gospel to those who have never understood it, as well as give a friendly face to those who are lonely through our church services and individual visits. By doing this, we bring glory to God and fulfill the biblical command to “honor your father and your mother” (Exodus 20:12) and “visit orphans and widows in their need” (James 1:27). We believe it is God’s desire that His servants finish well. To learn more about this exciting ministry of encouragement, please contact Chris Barnard at or by phone at 972-820-5177.

Retirement Home Ministry
A local rehabilitation and nursing center is in need of a piano player at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. Volunteers needed to visit residents and lead Bible Studies in retirement facilities in our surrounding area, or near your home. Training provided. Contact Chris Barnard at or 972 820-5177.
