Jesus and His disciples were, well, the ultimate example of what a small group should be. They studied together, walked together, encouraged each other, then applied what they learned and went out to make more disciples. They did not stand alone. Just as God intended, we each have certain needs that are well met through fellowship with others who share our struggles and rejoice in our victories ... who have walked ahead of us or a few steps behind us. This is how He created us, and Jesus demonstrated the perfect model for us to follow.
