Life Change at Prestonwood North Campus
Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities. —Isaiah 54:2–3
When we started the journey of faith we call Beyond All Limits, this powerful verse from Isaiah was placed on our hearts. It’s been four years since God led us to expand our reach through the new Saunders Children’s Building, the upgrade of our broadcast and media ministry, and a second campus, Prestonwood North Campus.
Isaiah 54 has truly been a signature verse at Prestonwood North Campus as we have lengthened our cords to reach the thriving communities in the U.S. Highway 380 corridor. And, Sunday, August 15, 2010, we were blessed to be observe yet another milestone—expanding to two Worship Services at Prestonwood North Campus.
With our weekly worship attendance there averaging more than 1,300, we knew it was the right time to expand to two services on Sunday mornings and provide space for those who have yet to come. It is a joy to know that about 70 percent who are now calling Prestonwood North Campus “home” are not transfers from this campus. They are new members and new people we are reaching for Christ.
There are no limits to the opportunity and the privilege that we have to minister in that region. The fields are white for harvest and we anxiously await all that God will do through our people and our ministry.
