Grades 1-6
The Children’s Ministry teaches grade-appropriate Bible lessons in the classroom and during KidZone (grades 1–3) and Big City (grades 4–6), and offers fun events and programs for the whole family.
Children attend the 4:45 Bible Fellowship on Saturdays. At 6:00 p.m., all children in grades 1–6 attend the Worship Service with their parents.
What to Expect
4:45 p.m. Bible Fellowship
For the 4:45 p.m. Bible Fellowship hour, all children in grades 1–6 start out together for large-group time. They are then dismissed to their individual classrooms on the third floor of the Children’s Ministry Building.
Sundays
On Sundays, children in grades 1–6 will attend either the 9:15 or 11:00 a.m. Worship Service with their parents. During Bible Fellowship hours:
- At 8:00 a.m., parents should sign in their children at the classrooms—grades 1–3 in Room C328; grades 4-6 in Room C326.
- At 9:15 and 11:00 a.m., children in grades 1–3 start out in KidZone, and those in grades 4–6 start out in Big City. Later, they go to their individual classrooms.
KidZone & Big City
While in KidZone/Big City, children sit with their Bible Fellowship classmates and teachers to watch “Living with Fish”, an interactive, family-friendly video which is filmed at Prestonwood. In their classrooms, they build on what they learned from "Living with Fish" through our GPS (God’s Plan for Salvation) curriculum that provides in-depth biblical instruction coupled with grade-level activities.
