Debbie Stuart

My favorite character in the Bible is:

Deborah – I was named after her and there was peace in the land under her leadership

My life verse is:
Luke 1:45: “Blessed is she who believes what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished.”

If I could ask God one question, it would be:
Why do you put up with me?!

Nobody knows that I:
Love to go to garage sales

I'm happiest when:
I am following the Lord's plan for my life

On my iPod:
Don't have one

The one book (besides the Bible) I'd recommend to anyone is:
Streams in the Desert by L.B. Cowman

My last meal would be:
Mexican food

I'm most excited about:
God's plans for my family, the future of Women's Ministry and God's call on my life

My trademark expression is:
"Do what the Lord says even if it hair-lips the devil!"

The team I root for most is:
The Women's Ministry Leadership Team!  Go girls!

My proudest moment is:
Watching my children walk with God

If I could, I'd:
Rid the world of evil

The one blog I read regularly is:
My Pastor’s blog

I could eat:
Chocolate all day long

My pet peeve is:
Whining women

My perfect day would be:
Spending the day with my family, talking about the great things God is doing

My favorite childhood memory is:
Our Christmas family traditions

In my free time, I:
Read old books, sit in the swing on the back porch, look through old photo albums, spend time at the lake with my fisherman

If I could do it over again, I'd:
Hold things a little looser, laugh a little more, stress a little less, listen a little more, talk a little less, give a lot more, enjoy the simple things in life, trust the Lord at all times with everything and obey Him immediately; I'd be more disciplined and less dramatic; I'd tell more people about Christ

My favorite TV show is:
Reba  —Barbara Jean cracks me up!

Three people I would want to have a meal with:
Jesus, my mom (she lives in heaven), Mother Teresa

I would spend $1,000:
Buying gifts for Christmas, a few old books and a great piece of chocolate
