My favorite character in the Bible is:
Joseph because God works all things together for good; also, Gideon, because God used the least important person in his family and God was with him
My life verse is:
Ephesians 2:9-10

Raised pheasants when I was a kid
I’m happiest when:
I’m with Dan at our ranch watching a sunset

Sorry, I don’t own one.
The one book (besides the Bible) I’d recommend to anyone is:
Discipline: The Glad Surrender by Elizabeth Elliot (it reminds me of the call on my life)
My last meal would be:
A hamburger and ice cream!
I’m most excited about:
My dad’s 80th birthday this year!
My trademark expression is:
“I appreciate that so much!”
The team I root for most is:
Dallas Cowboys!
My proudest moment is:
My wedding day and graduating from seminary
If I could, I’d:
Raise cattle and start a pecan orchard on our ranch (I’d also invite kids out for day camps)
The one blog I read regularly is:
Mary Manz Simon
I could eat:
Ice cream every day
My pet peeve is:
When people don’t see the importance of teaching preschoolers at church! Or, when someone asks me what I do during the week
My perfect day would be:
A day at our ranch walking the pasture with Dan, watching the sunset, and reading God’s Word as I watch the deer come close to the house
My favorite childhood memory is:
Making mud pies in my backyard, playing kick the can until it got dark, dressing up all of my stuffed animals and the cat, too, when I could catch him, working puzzles in Sunday School, riding my bike all over town, helping my dad pick peaches from our peach trees, and hearing my mom’s voice call me to come in for supper (I couldn’t choose just one!)
In my free time, I:
Clean house and shop
If I could do it over again, I:
Wouldn’t change a thing.... life has been so sweet and God has been so good
