Steve Barbee

Bass guitarist Steve Barbee has been a member of the Prestonwood Worship Team for many years. His desire to educate and encourage others to strengthen their gifts and talents has brought him to the School of Fine Arts. His more than 30 years of guitar-playing experience has given him the opportunity to play with leading names among jazz, country and contemporary Christian artists.

Steve grew up in a Christian home, coming to know Christ at an early age, as his parents taught him to turn to and trust Christ for everything. His 14 years’ experience with the Prestonwood Worship Team has led him to want to develop music talent in students, so that they, too, can discover how to worship their Lord and Savior through their God-given gifts.
