In all the world, there is no church quite like
Prestonwood. But on every part of this globe, we find
people who share our beliefs and our mission. They are
our brothers and sisters, their spiritual DNA exactly the
same as ours. We are all blood relatives of Our Lord and
Savior, who died for each and every one of us.
And as His kin, we carry on His mission, spreading
His Good News of salvation and reaching out to follow
His servant’s heart.
We often say, “We call out the called here at
Prestonwood.” We talk about the need to seek God’s will
and to follow Him, whatever that should entail.
When Jim and Kaye Johns first visited Prestonwood,
they were convicted by God’s Word. Eventually, they
began PrayerPower Ministries, to teach people to pray as
Jesus taught, touching thousands for the glory of God.
Gene and Virginia Grounds took their first steps of
spiritual growth at Prestonwood. Over the decades, they
have lived by faith, serving with willing hearts before
launching Victim Relief Ministries. Using the Parable of
the Good Samaritan as a guide, they work with churches
to help victims of crime and natural disasters.
We see this willingness to serve in every part of the
Prestonwood family. Among our students, we see the new
generation of servant leaders. We call them Difference
Makers, and they are changing their world.
God blesses those who follow Him, and we see His
abundance at Prestonwood.
We have been blessed to break ground for the
Saunders Children’s Building, to serve the coming
generations. And we celebrate the first anniversary of
Prestonwood North in Prosper, bringing God’s truth to
our northern neighbors.
In all this, we are One Church, One Heart, One
Mission.
