For the Christian, each day is a celebration—of our
relationship with our Creator, our adoption into the family
of God, our salvation through faith in our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. But certain events and certain times provide a
particular focus for celebrating.
With the current year ebbing and Thanksgiving
approaching, we pause for a moment and look back, giving
thanks for what the Lord has done at Prestonwood and the
gifts He has showered on us.
We celebrate the gift of His vision, in Beyond All Limits.
We celebrate the One Year Anniversary of this journey of
faith as we follow His lead, faithful servants fully obedient.
And we celebrate the gift of His provision and His
faithfulness to His people as we share the Good News of
salvation in our neighborhoods, our region, our world.
PowerPoint Ministries broadcasts Prestonwood’s message
of biblical truth across this nation and around the globe.
Through Beyond All Limits, technological advances increase
our ability to reach seekers everywhere, carrying the news of
God’s saving grace to our neighbors and to the nations.
To the north, what will be the home for Prestonwood
North continues taking form on a prairie in Prosper that
reminds us of the great harvest that awaits. Meantime, the
Prestonwood family continues to reach out with the love of
Christ to their neighbors in those burgeoning communities.
These are special days, too, for our Children’s Ministry,
with construction underway on the Saunders Children’s
Building. Expansion will enhance this extraordinary
ministry’s mission to teach and bring the love of Jesus to
little ones.
And we celebrate and humbly give thanks for the
greatest gift of all—the birth two millennia ago of our Savior,
Jesus Christ. This year, we offer to Him a special gift, our
gift of worship. From Prestonwood Lights, the incredible tree
lighting led by our students, to Gloria – A Christmas Worship
Experience, to our Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, we
raise our voices in praise of the One who came so that we
may live … and we celebrate.
