Beyond All Limits encompasses many things.
But at its core, it is a journey of faith.
The bricks and mortar, the furniture in the classrooms, the latest in electronic media,
they’re simply the tools. Beyond All Limits is about something much more.
It is answered prayers and personal commitments, sacrificial joy and deepening
relationships with our Savior. It is abandoning self and working in total obedience to God’s
call upon His people.
When we embarked on Beyond All Limits a year ago, Pastor Jack Graham spoke of “the
visionary faith” that leads God’s church to attempt the impossible, confident that nothing is
impossible for God.
“And when God gives you a vision, you move forward with it,” Pastor Graham says,
fulfilling the mission of the church by introducing Jesus Christ as Lord to as many people
as possible and developing them in Christian living.
“What our members have captured through Beyond All Limits is the mission aspect—the
mission with the Saunders Children’s Building to teach and train the next generation; the
mission of our church to reach one of the fastest-growing areas in North Texas through
the North Campus; and the mission of PowerPoint and the media ministry to use
technology, the most effective means possible, to impact the world,” he said.
Jim and Cheryl Wicker, longtime Prestonwood members who were among the families
that helped lay the foundation for the North Campus, said the ultimate impact of
Beyond All Limits “goes far beyond even what the church leadership imagined.”
“It sets the stage for the next 15 to 20 years of ministry if we’re obedient to God,”
Jim said. “But we know we need to be very deliberate about reaching people for
Jesus Christ, the mission of Prestonwood. That’s why we exist.
