It began with a dream and an unfolding
vision and finally a bold step north, to
reproduce the miracle of Prestonwood.
And in the year since the inception of Prestonwood North,
more than 70 people have stepped forward in Christian
obedience to be baptized and nearly 1,000
regularly attend Sunday Worship Service at
Prosper High School.
To Pastor Jack Graham, Prestonwood North
follows exactly the blueprint set down in the
Book of Acts.
“In those early chapters, you see the Church
multiplied greatly,” he says, “and that is really
what we’re doing with the multiple locations.
We are simply multiplying the body of Christ
through our personal witness and the corporate
witness of the church—the faith, the heart,
the focus, the purpose and the mission of the
Church.”
A permanent worship center will be in place
in about a year, maybe a mile west of the high
school on a broad field near the extension of
the Dallas North Tollway. And the coming 12
months provide a great time of preparation.
“The real hope is we wouldn’t just do a task each
week, but that it would be a part of enlarging the
capacity of our hearts, to do what God would
have us to when we build the facility,” said Teaching
Pastor David McKinley. “We’re growing as individuals
through service and outreach in ways will that allow us
to grow as a church.”
