A recent LifeWay Research finding revealed
that “70 percent of young adults (ages 23-30)
stopped attending church regularly for at least
a year between ages 18-22.” According to Scott
McConnell, associate director of LifeWay research,
“To remain in church, a person must have
experienced the value of teaching and relationships at
church and see the relevance for the next phase of life.”
“At Prestonwood, we are reaching out to our young adults through Bible Fellowship. We are
striving to strengthen their faith and help deepen their commitment to Christ. Under the
leadership of Minister to Young Singles Jarrett Stephens and Minister to Young Marrieds Chris
Kouba, the ministry is vital and vibrant. Young adults find relevant teaching for everyday life,
spiritual fellowship, purpose through service and friends that last a lifetime.”
