The Women’s Ministry launched its fall Bible studies with the “Across the Table” Friendship Dinner in the Sports & Fitness Center on Aug. 5.
Women enjoyed a great time of fellowship before dinner in the Sports & Fitness Center.
Deacons served dinner to the more than 1,200 women attending the annual dinner.
After dinner, Susie Hawkins thanked Director of Women’s Ministry Debbie Stuart on behalf of all the women for her five years of steadfast and passionate service to the ministry.
Director of Women’s Ministry Debbie Stuart introduces special guest Lisa Smith, a young woman with Down syndrome who passionately shares God’s message of hope throgh the gift of signing.
Lisa Smith led the women in an amazing time of worship.
Featured speaker Thelma Wells, formerly of Women of Faith, spoke about her life trials and blessings, tackling the question: “What do you do when you don’t know what to do?”
The incredible evening was capped with an opportunity to sign up for fall Bible studies.
