Newcomers

If you are new to the Dallas area or new to Prestonwood, we want to help you plug into community!  We would like for you to join us for several Newcomers events that we have throughout the year.

Walk on the W.I.L.D. Side

Women In Leadership Development
This is a unique program intended to equip, encourage, and instruct women to develop and effectively use their spiritual gifts of leadership, administration and teaching.

Prayer  

The foundation of this ministry and of our lives is constant communication with the Lord. Without a vital and dynamic prayer life, it is impossible to know and do the will of God.  Through prayer, He lights our paths. Join the prayer ministry every Thursday morning.

Essential Friends 

There is a unique growth that comes when women minister to women. It is easier to discern God’s will for your life when someone “who has been there” walks with you. Make a difference in the life of another woman. Also, Kay Cherry is available to host Home Essentials Workshops in her home for small groups of women.

WIN (Women in Need) 

This Bible-based guidance ministry provides hurting women with the help they need from women who are called to this area of service. Any woman walking through difficulty or crisis will find support and strength from God’s Word. Call 972-820-5234 for more information.

WINGS (Widows in God's Service)  

Knit Wits
Our knitting group meets at 9:30 a.m. every other Tuesday in the Main Street area. If you don’t know how to knit, we’ll help you learn!  Feel free to bring another project and join us.  You don’t have to be a widow to join the Knit Wits! For more information, call Sidney Mosely at 469-579-4187. 

Lunch Bunch
The Lunch Bunch meets the third Friday of every month at 11:00 a.m. for food and friendship. It’s a fun and easy way to stay in touch with the ladies in WINGS. For upcoming dates and locations, please contact Linda Bardin at 972-530-2917 or . Please join us!

Working Women's Connection

Equipping women to run the race
This ministry is designed to encourage, edify, equip, and challenge Christian women in the workforce to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ by building a spiritual foundation and network.

Tim's Tots  

Tim’s Tots is a Scripture-based curriculum that teaches children biblical principles. The lessons are fun and include adventures and recreation. Moms In Touch

Moms In Touch (MIT) is made up of moms who believe that prayer can make a difference.  Groups meet regularly to pray for their children, schools, teachers and administrators.  Find the group closest to you!
