FAQs

• What is the student/leader ratio?
The ratio is 1:8 for grades K–2 and 1:10 for grades 3–6.

• Who are the leaders at Summer Camp?
The leaders will be a mix of summer day camp staffers, parent volunteers and Prestonwood interns.

• Will my child be spending time outside?
Yes! We will be outside primarily in the morning, and we will monitor the heat index throughout the day in order to keep the kids and preteens safe.

• What does my camper need to bring to camp?
Campers need to pack a lunch and water bottle. Campers do not need to bring a backpack.

• What does my camper need to wear?
Your camper needs to wear comfy clothes (e.g., gym shorts and T-shirt) that can get a little messy. We also ask that your campers wear closed-toed shoes.

Make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen as some of our activities and recreation will be outdoors!
